Dennis Bartok has been EVP of Acquisitions & Distribution for art-house distributor Cinelicious Pics since the company was founded in 2014.  Last year L.A Weekly praised Cinelicious as “Best Indie Distributor in Los Angeles.”  For 13 years Bartok was Head of Programming for the American Cinematheque where he organized and moderated hundreds of screenings at the restored Egyptian Theatre.  In 2008 he produced & wrote the Lionsgate horror film Trapped Ashes, and is currently in post production on his first feature as director, the horror film P.O.V. for Fantastic Films in Ireland.  In September, 2016 the University of Mississippi Press will publish his first non-fiction book, A Thousand Cuts: the Bizarre Underground World of Collectors and Dealers Who Saved the Movies.
